The National Examination Council (NECO) has announced the release of the 2024 Senior Secondary School Certificate External Examination results.
Professor Dantani Wushishi, the Registrar and Chief Executive of the Council, revealed that 57,114 candidates achieved credits in both English and Mathematics, yielding a pass rate of 67.53%.
A total of 86,067 candidates took part in the examination, which saw a notable decline in malpractice incidents.
The number of candidates involved in malpractice decreased by 27.7% compared to 2023, with 6,160 cases reported.
The results were made available just 62 days after the final exam, reflecting a significant improvement in the council’s processing time.
