NAFDAC Destroys ₦1.3bn Worth Of Fake, Expired Products In Abuja [PHOTOS]

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) destroyed counterfeit, expired, and substandard commodities worth ₦1.3 billion in Abuja.

Professor Moji Adeyeye, Director General of NAFDAC, represented by Festus Ukadike, who led agency personnel to the Kuje dump site in Abuja, stated that medications, healthcare equipment, cosmetics, food items, and other things were destroyed.

He also destroyed expired food sent by local and international groups, notably the World Food Programme (WFP).
