Bashir Ibrahim-Garba, the Director General of the Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), announced that Governor Uba Sani has reinstated four land titles previously belonging to Fifth Chukker Resort Limited.
These titles, located along Jos Road, were revoked under former Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s administration without following the proper procedures.
Garba explained that the large, peaceful area was used to host several polo matches, tournaments, and events that drew international audiences.

He stated that Governor Sani’s decision to restore the land titles aligns with his commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment that promotes investment, economic growth, job creation, and an increase in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
The DG also highlighted that this move demonstrates the governor’s dedication to creating a favorable climate for businesses in Kaduna State.
He also emphasized the government’s commitment to resolving land and property disputes while developing an efficient land administration system that serves the public effectively.
Garba expressed hope that these reinstatements would lead to the resolution of other land revocations carried out improperly in the past. He stressed that addressing these issues would help establish a positive environment for investors and stakeholders, thus boosting socio-economic development in the state.
Finally, he urged the residents of Kaduna to remain law-abiding and patient as the administration implements land reforms focused on public welfare.
